Snapdragon - Snapstar Champagne

A brand new and unique snapdragon variety that with its beautiful double flowers and long stems took our flower hearts by storm. So much so that we simply had to add Snapstar Champagne to our range immediately, without having grown the variety ourselves. Some varieties are simply so beautiful and magical that they get to jump ahead in the queue and get a place directly in our range here at Florea. This variety ticked all our boxes in color, shape and characteristics. We have only one word about Snapstar Champagne and that is WOW!

Beetroot - Hula Hoop

A magical and colorful mix with several different beetroot varieties in the same package. A cool taste adventure and an incredible experience for both the mouth and the eye. This seed mix includes the varieties: Detroit 2 (red), Burpees Golden (yellow), Albina Vereduna (white), and Chioggia (polka-colored). Snapdragon - Madame Butterfly Ivory F1

This is a new variety of sweet rocket that we at Florea are very proud of. This elegant variety has become one of our absolute favorites and one we will never be without. The double flowers come in a creamy white tone with small hints of light yellow and give a fluffy impression. Thanks to its height and long vase life, Madame Butterfly Ivory is a loyal and absolutely fantastic bouquet flower.
The variety&#8217;s charming appearance also makes it a fairy tale in borders and other types of plantings. The best thing about sweet rocket is that the more flower spikes you pick, the more you get. Not so surprising that it is so popular, right?
It is not only loved by us at Florea but also by all our pollinators who usually flock around this wonderful variety. The color of Madame Butterfly Ivory is hard to resist and we are very happy to welcome it into our assortment!

Mini Cucumber - Iznik F1

A nice and delicate mini-cucumber for cultivation in a greenhouse, warm protected outdoor locations, or for indoor cultivation on a windowsill. The cucumbers grow to about 10 cm in size with a smooth skin and are resistant to powdery mildew. The variety is easy to grow and yields a rich harvest without needing to be pollinated.
This variety is perfect for container gardening and does not require as much space for its roots as other cucumber varieties, which is why it is called the apartment cucumber in common parlance. If you have access to plant lighting, this variety can be grown year-round. Imagine how cool it would be to harvest your own cucumber in November or February when summer feels distant and longed for.
The variety is excellent for eating fresh, pickling, or using in salads.

An adorable snapdragon novelty with open and double flowers in the colors apple blossom and cream. This bright pastel dream is enchantingly beautiful and has a very strong habit with sturdy stems. Our founder Erik Hoekstra always plants the DoubleShot Appleblossom at the front of his vegetable patch. Tomato - Indigo Rose

Plum tomato - San Marzano 2

An Italian cultural heritage from 1950 with large, oval, plum-like tomatoes renowned for their delightful juiciness and creamy texture. Tomato - Gourman Sun F1

The Gourmansun is the tomato with everything and more. It has the look with its heart-like shape and with its striped yellow-orange-red color. It certainly has the size, with fully ripe fruits weighing around 200-260 grams and producing plenty of tomatoes throughout the summer. It also has an incredible flavor and juiciness that not all tomatoes of that size have, which was one of the main reasons why it was chosen as a new addition to our tomato range. Great to eat fresh in salads or to use in cooking such as soups, stews or pickles of all kinds.
Another big plus for Gourmansun is that it has good resistance to diseases such as fungal attack and mold, something that is becoming increasingly common in our gardens today. It is precisely such characteristics that we at Florea cherish a little extra and have in mind when we select varieties for our range!

Tomato - Pink Thai Egg

The charming &#8216;Pink Thai Egg&#8217; tomato variety is a lovely, egg-shaped tomato with a beautiful, shiny pink skin. The variety originated in Thailand and became popular in 1950. It is known for its productivity and for its resistance to cracking. Something that tomatoes often get due to uneven irrigation or large temperature differences.
A fantastic tomato that goes particularly well in salads thanks to its characteristics in color, shape and taste!

Watermelon - Tigrimini F1

A specially developed variety to be grown directly in the open field, unlike most other watermelon varieties that require a greenhouse, a glassed-in balcony or greenhouse, for example. Tigrimini can therefore cope in a sheltered location but outdoors even in a Nordic climate, fantastic, isn&#8217;t it?
The variety has slightly smaller melons but with explosive sweetness and taste. Fantastic to eat directly as it is or to use in a summer salads that need to be spiced up. Our garden expert Johanna Damm usually makes a starter of Tigrimini by dicing it into small cubes, crumbling Chevré cheese and then drizzling some creamy balsamic over it. Last of all, she adds a little salt and pepper. Simple, decorative and incredibly tasty!

Chili - Habanero Red

Habanero Red belongs to the group of the hottest chili varieties and reaches up to 350,000 points on the Scoville scale. The variety is easy to grow and produces green, slightly round fruits that change color to an intense red when they are ready to be harvested. The plant has a bushy growth habit and has beautiful, decorative, dark green leaves. The variety is excellent for drying and grinding as a spice for an incredibly hot chili flavor.
The strong flavor of the variety makes it perfect for chili stews of all kinds but is also well-known and popular to use in homemade salsa, chili sauce, and ketchup. A really hot tip from us at Florea is to use this strong chili variety for marinades, and it goes particularly well with meat and chicken. This variety can also be grown indoors all year round on a sunny windowsill. Use plant lighting during the darker months of the year to help it thrive and continue to produce lots of red chili fruits that you can pick at any time to use in cooking.
So if you&#8217;re looking for an easy-to-grow chili variety with lots of heat, we HIGHLY recommend Habanero Red!

Pepper - Flynn

An incredibly cute and appetizing snack pepper with a lovely orange color. The fruits are small and the variety is compact, making it perfect for balconies, patios, or larger window sills with plenty of sunlight in a spacious pot. The charming and colorful color of the peppers makes the plant a delightful splash of color wherever it is placed. This variety is very popular among children, especially due to the size of the peppers, but also because of their sweet taste.
This pleasant variety can be eaten in many forms, both fresh, cooked, or pickled. It is a fantastic and tasty snack pepper to have in salads or to eat as it is, perhaps at its best on a breakfast sandwich in all its simplicity?

Beef Tomato - Marmande ECO

A French beefsteak tomato that can produce up to 200g of red, large, and elegant tomatoes. With its meaty and delightful flesh, Marmande is a definite summer favorite. The variety originally comes from France but is equally well-known in Italy, especially in Tuscany and northern Italy. It is often referred to as one of Italy&#8217;s most beloved tomatoes in the Italian cuisine and is even PAT-listed among traditional Italian varieties. The fantastic beefsteak tomato has also found its way into the English cuisine thanks to its incredible taste and has become a classic favorite in the Swedish cuisine as well.
Marmande is the ultimate beefsteak tomato for cooking, as it is magical in oven dishes, tomato sauces, and pasta sauces. The variety is also incredibly delicious to have fresh in salads or to eat sliced on bread with a little salt. A definite summer favorite, in other words!
The variety is tall-growing and is resistant to Fusarium and Verticillium diseases.

Cherry Tomato - Sungold F1

An incredibly popular and talked-about cherry tomato that has become a big favorite worldwide, but especially in Swedish households and gardens. With its delightful tropical taste and its orange-golden appearance, Sungold is one of the sweetest tomatoes in the world. Its magical taste makes this variety a big favorite and a class of its own. Sungold is also a favorite among many of us who work at Florea and a recurring favorite in our gardens.
The lovely taste makes this incredible tomato variety outstanding in salads or as a topping on breakfast sandwiches, but it is also completely magical to eat as is, straight from the plant. A sure winner for both young and old!

Pisum sativum golden sweet (Gul sockerärt)

Sugar Pea - Golden Sweet

A cool and flavorful cultivar that originated in India and was first cultivated around 1860. A unique and tall-growing variety that produces beautiful, flat pods in bright yellow color. The special color also makes it much easier to find the pods compared to the classic green varieties. Golden Sweet has cute little violet flowers that make the plant itself look very decorative when in bloom. 
The pods are good to eat fresh or lightly cooked and are excellent for wok dishes, for example. This is a favorite variety of our CEO Philip Eriksson, who usually fries them in cooking oil and chops garlic. Last of all, he adds a little salt and then the pods are ready to serve!
