Let us introduce our latest addition to the rose campion family, Apricot Lemonade. A unique and enchanting rose campion variety in a soft apricot shade. The beautiful petals are paper-thin and in the center, the flowers have a stunning pinkish-lilac ring around the yellow center of the bloom. The backside of the petals has a beautiful lavender shade that gives the flowers a romantic and lively expression.

Zinnia - Zinderella Lilac

This magical zinnia variety is truly in a league of its own. Zinderella Lilac has beautiful flowers in tasteful pinkish tones that also lean towards a lavender color with a dark center. When we saw this delightful zinnia variety, we were immediately blown away and simply had to add it to our assortment. Zinderella Lilac is an incredibly easy-to-grow and grateful summer flower. It gets sturdy and robust stems that are perfect for cutting. Thanks to its long-lasting nature, it stays in a vase for a long time and is a delightful addition to bouquets. This variety is amazing in the garden bed and is also very popular with all our pollinators.
If you like to make your own summer bouquets, we warmly recommend this variety. Every time you cut off a flower from Zinderella Lilac, it shoots out new shoots that result in even more flowers, amazing right? So, in other words, the variety is a very loyal bouquet flower and the flowers bloom spectacularly until the frost takes them.
Did you know that Zinderella Lilac can also be dried? This way, you can enjoy the flowers even longer!

Peony - King's Day

Few flowers surpass the magical King&#8217;s Day, which seems to charm every viewer fortunate enough to behold this magnificent peony variety. That it is already strikingly beautiful in its bud stage, clothed in peach-colored attire, is incredible in itself. The surprise is that it only becomes more and more beautiful as it opens. Its color lightens and shimmers in the sun in a way that only King&#8217;s Day can achieve—a spectacle for both the eye and the flower-loving heart. A fantastic variety that works wonders in flower beds and gives that &#8216;wow&#8217; feeling that&#8217;s hard to put into words.
King&#8217;s Day lasts unusually long in a vase, making it the ultimate cut peony. This is Florea&#8217;s gardener Johanna Damm&#8217;s absolute favorite peony and is a must-have in her garden. At her home, we see it growing in multiple places in the garden, both on its own and interwoven with other varieties in a sorbet-like color palette. We are especially taken aback by its grandeur when we see it in a large vase on the dining table and realize that the variety truly lives up to its name!

Peony - Bowl of Beauty

Bowl of Beauty is a beautiful, pink peony in Japanese form. The outer petals are a pale fuchsia pink colour, while the slender inner stamens are a vanilla yellow and fade beautifully over time. The variety is known for its strong stems, but needs support because the plant often grows so tall. Bowl of Beauty is known to produce abundant flowers and has many side shoots, which extends the flowering time. Another plus for this particular variety is the pleasant scent. A bunch of these indoors will make a whole room smell lovely. A real peony prima donna and favourite!

Amaryllis - Benfica

An elegant amaryllis variety with single flowers of a beautiful velvety red colour. Benfica usually blooms with two to five flowers per flower stalk and each amaryllis bulb has several flower stalks. The variety also has long, green leaves that emerge from the bulb after it has flowered.
Beautiful to plant together in groups or to put by itself in a pot. Fantastic to use for cutting and a real favourite at Christmas time thanks to its beautiful velvety red colour. A big plus for long vase life and sturdy stems!
(Takes about 10-14 weeks to flower, both heat and light have a big impact on bulb growth).

Karin Larsson's Kitchen Garden

We are proud to present our collaboration with Carl Larsson House where we have developed two boxes with seeds inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson. Carl Larsson House in Sundborn is an icon of Swedish interior design and family life. For over a hundred years, the artist Carl Larsson has inspired garden enthusiasts with his images of the idyllic Swedish garden.
This box reflects what the vegetable and kitchen garden could have looked like at Karin and Carl&#8217;s home. Many things that were grown over 100 years ago we still love today! We also asked ourselves &#8211; what was their inspiration? Perhaps it was exotic and new varieties they brought with them from France.
When we visited Carl Larsson House for the first time, we were struck by the story that Carl loved rhubarb. He loved rhubarb so much that there would always be a rhubarb pie on his birthday. So of course they have a big place in the kitchen garden and a given place in the box.
Karin&#8217;s favourite has to be tomatoes &#8211; a passion she shared with us at Florea! So we&#8217;ve included our favourite tomato, which we hope she would have liked to grow in her time too.

Karin Larsson's Flowerbed

We are proud to present our collaboration with Carl Larsson House where we have developed two boxes with seeds inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson. Carl Larsson House in Sundborn is an icon of Swedish interior design and family life. For over a hundred years, the artist Carl Larsson has inspired garden enthusiasts with his images of the idyllic Swedish garden.
We chose to create a flower bed after seeing Karin&#8217;s beautiful flower beds in Carl&#8217;s many artworks. We also believe that the Larsson family grew a lot of flowers to create a beautiful and inspiring environment. Nasturtium was grown extensively and was always found outside the entrance to the house. We have chosen to include an easy-to-grow variety that blooms in the same colours as it did at the family home.
One painting that caught our eye was ‘Brita. A cat and a sandwich’ where one of the daughters is standing in front of a house wall and in the background you can see stately and tall sunflowers. This made us think of Swedish summer and the great family life we all love to share in the garden. So it was a no-brainer to include a tall sunflower in this box, perfect for growing with the kids.

Nasturtium - Milkmaid

A enchanting and renowned nasturtium with fantastic, yellow cream-colored flowers. A very popular variety that is perfect for trellises, balcony boxes, or hanging in planters. It spruces up the entrance, patio, or balcony and creates a summery oasis of floral magic.
The flowers of the nasturtium are edible and enchanting as a garnish in cooking, baking, and other fancy presentations. Imagine a summery ceviche on cod with avocado, strawberries, chili, lime, and red onion. Cornflower mix ECO

Cornflower is today one of the most common summer flowers and grows both wild and cultivated in many places around the world. The most common is the classic blue variety, but at Florea we love all the colors of cornflowers, which is why we have collected our favorites into a beautiful cornflower mix. A colorful blend of all the most beautiful colors such as white, pink, blue, purple, and lilac.
This easy-to-grow mix thrives and grows in most soils, making it easy to succeed with. It is fantastic in borders but also a grateful cut flower that lasts a long time in a vase. It is also great for drying and using as an everlasting flower throughout the year, as it looks equally beautiful whether fresh or dried.

Wild Carrot - Dara

Beautiful Wild Carrot, one of the finest fillers we have in bouquets according to us at Florea. This variety has beautiful finely cut foliage and magnificent umbels that seem to dance in the air. Wild carrot flowers come in romantic colors of white, pink, and purple. It is also known as ornamental carrot and is equally gorgeous fresh as well as dried, which is why it is widely used in bouquets.
It is loved by all our pollinators and works magically in flower beds, plantings, and containers mixed with other summer flowers. A real favorite at Florea and a recurring feature in our gardens year after year.
