Poppy - Single Red ECO

A classic summer variety with beautiful scarlet red flowers. The well-known &#8220;old garden flower&#8221; or &#8220;cottage flower&#8221; as it is often called in Swedish, is a very easy to grow and reliable variety. The gorgeous red flowers bloom from June to August and can be found in gardens all over the world.
The red corn poppy is also a well-known symbol for people who have fallen in wars, especially in England where the beautiful summer flower now symbolizes remembrance and hope for the future.
This variety is very nice to plant together with other summer flowers such as blue cornflower, cosmos, and sweet peas. Corn poppy is also a perfect attractor for the kitchen garden or other plantings since it is a summer flower that is incredibly popular among our pollinators.

Cornflower - Blue Ball ECO

A classic and beautiful cornflower with dense and double flowers in blue. The variety has a low and compact growth habit that is perfect for border beds, planters and pots. It is also very popular with all our pollinators and great to plant alongside other flower varieties. The cornflower looks incredibly pretty in bouquets both as freshly picked and as dried everlasting flowers. It is lovely to have in a vase on the table or to decorate the table setting.
The flowers of the cornflower are edible and perfect as a garnish on dishes, baked goods, and summer cakes. Our tip is to spice up a Greek salad or a tuna bowl with avocado and pickled red onions with these cute flowers. The good taste and blue color contrast make the plate artistically beautiful and exudes a lovely summer vibe.
A big plus for this variety is that it is also organic!

Marigold - Pink Surprise

Gorgeous, multi-layered flowers in a lovely color combination of apricot, powder pink, and creamy yellow. This variety is an excellent cut flower and looks lovely in bouquets. It also fits well in borders and is incredibly easy to grow. It blooms beautifully well into the autumn and is known to be a very healthy variety that rarely suffers from disease. Not even slugs seem to want to eat the marigold, which is a big plus for gardens that struggle with these unwelcome guests.
The flowers are edible and become incredibly decorative on pastries, in salads, or as garnish on dishes. Marigold can also be used in tea as it is said to have a calming effect on stress and anxiety. It is also popular to make both marigold oil and homemade skin ointment from this variety. The marigold has long been known for its medicinal effects, such as being cleansing, nourishing, and soothing for irritated skin. The magical flower is so gentle on the body that it suits both sensitive and dry skin as well as oily and impure skin. It is also antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and strengthens the immune system.

Cornflower - White Ball

A beautiful cornflower variety with completely white, dense and double flowers and a low and compact growth habit. Perfect for edging, planters and pots. The variety looks incredibly beautiful in bouquets both freshly picked and as dried flowers.
The flowers of this variety are also edible and magical to use as a garnish on cakes or pastries. A tip from us at Florea is to garnish a delicious raspberry panna cotta with White Ball&#8217;s lovely flowers for an extra summery feeling. It&#8217;s also possible to make juice and tea from the variety, making it not only beautiful but also very useful.

Poppy - Bridal Silk

This elegant and stylish poppy variety is a big favorite of ours at Florea. Partly because it&#8217;s incredibly easy to grow, but also because it&#8217;s so beautiful. The beautiful flower petals are silky white, and sometimes you can even see a faint touch of the lightest pink shades.
Bridal Silk readily self-seeds, which means you often get more of these wonderful flowers the following year!
(This variety should not be eaten as it can be poisonous.)

Love-in-a-mist - Persian Jewels

Beautiful Wild Carrot, one of the finest fillers we have in bouquets according to us at Florea. This variety has beautiful finely cut foliage and magnificent umbels that seem to dance in the air. Wild carrot flowers come in romantic colors of white, pink, and purple. It is also known as ornamental carrot and is equally gorgeous fresh as well as dried, which is why it is widely used in bouquets.
It is loved by all our pollinators and works magically in flower beds, plantings, and containers mixed with other summer flowers. A real favorite at Florea and a recurring feature in our gardens year after year.

Carrot - Deep Purple

Dark purple delightful carrots with pointed roots and an enchanting taste. An incredibly sweet and flavorful carrot variety that is excellent for raw food, juices, salads, and stews. The taste is unique and the cool purple appearance is a big plus. Purple carrot puree, magical accompaniments to the grill platter, or purple carrot soup with a dollop of crème fraîche are just a few of the cool food creations you can make with this carrot variety.

Parsnip - White Gem

A pleasant variety that produces white-yellow skinned, semi-long roots of very good quality. The variety is very easy to grow and provides large, abundant harvests. A grateful root vegetable that can withstand frozen and cold soil. It has a mild and sweet taste that is excellent both raw and cooked in salads, stews or as a side dish. It is also very appetizing in meat sauce, in soups, on pizza or as chips. A charming root vegetable that can be used for many dishes in the kitchen and can be stored for a long time.
Palsternacka patties with potatoes and herb salt or honey roasted parsnip with caramel sauce are two real favorite recipes for White Gem. Or why not a hearty salad with fried parsnip, bacon and peppers? Yum!

Onion - Noordhollandse Bloedrode

An amazing onion variety that can be used both as a salad onion and a red onion, depending on how long it stays in the ground. With a beautiful skin and a delicate taste, this onion variety is a clear favorite. The onions can become really large and flavorful but are also incredibly easy to store, which is a big plus. The range of uses for this variety is enormous when it comes to cooking, as it can be used both as a salad onion and a red onion. The variety is fantastic to eat fresh but also wonderful to caramelize or pickle. Another summer tip that is really tasty is to grill this variety.

Lovage

Lovage is a delightful herb with beautiful aromatic foliage. The leaves can be used both fresh and dried, and give an incredible flavor to salads, stews, fish and meat dishes, but can also be used as a substitute for bouillon. A really good seasoning in stews, sauces and soups, but also in marinades.
A great tip is to throw in a few stems of lovage into the boiling potato water or to make herb salt with this variety!

Carrot - Nantes 2

A early and delightful summer carrot with cylindrical roots. The variety has a small core, a classic orange carrot appearance, and an incredibly delicate taste. An easy-to-grow variety that thrives in open ground and raised beds but also in heavier soils. This lovely variety also grows well in pots with good results, which has made it a popular balcony carrot. The variety&#8217;s long storage time makes it a very popular and well-liked variety that is often mentioned in common parlance and in various cultivation contexts.
The fantastically sweet and delicious taste makes Nantes 2 excellent for cooking and baking. Oven-roasted carrots with honey and rosemary or creamed carrots are two favorites with this variety. When it comes to baking with Nantes 2, carrot bread in a baking tray with pumpkin seeds and flake salt or a summery carrot cake with lots of Philadelphia frosting are two real favorites. The variety is also delightful to eat on its own or with dip. A carrot classic with a wide range of uses that will not disappoint you!

Dill - Common ECO

A pleasant medieval variety that is easy to grow and has a classic appetite-stimulating dill flavor. It is suitable for use fresh, dried, frozen or preserved. The variety produces a beautiful yellow and magnificent dill crown that is suitable for combining into beautiful floral arrangements. The variety is very popular with our pollinators and can serve as a lure in vegetable gardens or kitchen gardens. This variety is excellent for, among other things, stews, salads, soups, or with potatoes and crayfish, but also as a topping.
Dill is a very nutritious spice that has many positive health effects on the body, such as:
Promoting digestion Relieving stomach and intestinal problems Relieving respiratory problems Assisting with oral hygiene Anti-inflammatory properties And giving the immune system an extra boost

Beetroot - Hula Hoop

A magical and colorful mix with several different beetroot varieties in the same package. A cool taste adventure and an incredible experience for both the mouth and the eye. This seed mix includes the varieties: Detroit 2 (red), Burpees Golden (yellow), Albina Vereduna (white), and Chioggia (polka-colored). Each beet and color has a personal, appetizing taste with its own unique touch. Together, they become incredibly decorative in dishes or as a side dish.

Arugula - Rocket ECO

A very nice variety of Arugula which is an Italian delicacy salad. Small, jagged leaves with a slightly lighter stem and a delicious nutty flavor. Perfect for salads, pizzas or as a nice seasoning in many other dishes.

Spinach - Nores

This is a very useful and nutritious leafy green with medium-sized, robust dark green leaves. Nores is an incredibly easy-to-grow spinach with an incredibly wide range of uses. The variety is very popular and well-liked because it does not go to seed as easily as many other spinach varieties, which is a big plus.
The variety has a classic appetite-inducing and tasty spinach flavor that is great for cooking or using fresh in salads. The variety is also excellent for stewing or sautéing with garlic, Parmesan, a little salt and pepper. The range of uses for spinach is large and today the amazing leafy green is eaten in many countries around the world. Its fantastic properties have led it to be included in many different types of recipes and it is widely used in kitchens around the world. Smoothies, soups, gratins and bread are just a few examples of things that can contain the phenomenal leafy green.
The variety is frost-tolerant and also excellent for freezing.

Larkspur - White King

Long majestic flower spikes with white densely double flowers in a beautiful white color. This particular variety has extra long stems which makes it perfect for cutting. White King can also be dried and used in everlasting bouquets all year round.
It is magical as a background plant in flower beds thanks to its height and very popular among all our pollinators. The variety is easy to grow as long as it is placed in a sunny spot with nutritious soil. If you have not grown Larkspur before, we highly recommend trying White King, with a gentle warning that it is somewhat addictive because it is so incredibly beautiful.
Remember that Larkspur are poisonous!

Parsley - Frisé vert Foncé ECO

A nice curly parsley with a lovely classic flavor. Parsley is incredibly healthy, vitamin-rich, and also has a general strengthening effect on the whole body, especially on the liver and kidneys, and only 5 grams of parsley covers the daily requirement of vitamin A. Beautifully green curly leaves that are excellent for pickling or as a decorative garnish. This variety is also very easy to freeze.
Parsley pesto or garlic parsley butter are two real favorites with this variety. Or herb-roasted potatoes with fennel and curly parsley, really delicious!

Catmint

Lovely Catmint, a more beautiful edging and border plant is hard to find. This magical variety has a bushy appearance with lots of blue-violet spikes. Catmint has a grey-green foliage and blooms abundantly well into the autumn. A sun-loving perennial that creates magic in the border and returns faithfully every year. It has a magical scent so a tip is to plant it somewhere where it can be enjoyed often. Picking a stem of catmint and sniffing it is truly the definition of summer for us at Florea.
Catmint is loved by all of our pollinators, but most of all by butterflies who flock to this blue-purple beauty. A big plus is that even snails, rabbits, and deer leave this gorgeous variety alone!

Thyme ECO

A popular, decorative and traditional herb. A beautiful evergreen shrub with lilac-pink sweet small flowers that both smell and taste delicious. Thyme is today one of our most useful spices. Both the leaves and flowers can be eaten fresh or dried in marinades, sauces, soups, vinegar, and tea.
