Cornflower mix ECO

<p>Cornflower is today one of the most common summer flowers and grows both wild and cultivated in many places around the world. The most common is the classic blue variety, but at Florea we love all the colors of cornflowers, which is why we have collected our favorites into a beautiful cornflower mix. A colorful blend of all the most beautiful colors such as white, pink, blue, purple, and lilac.</p>
<p>This easy-to-grow mix thrives and grows in most soils, making it easy to succeed with. It is fantastic in borders but also a grateful cut flower that lasts a long time in a vase. It is also great for drying and using as an everlasting flower throughout the year, as it looks equally beautiful whether fresh or dried.</p>

Wild Carrot - Dara

<p>Beautiful Wild Carrot, one of the finest fillers we have in bouquets according to us at Florea. This variety has beautiful finely cut foliage and magnificent umbels that seem to dance in the air. Wild carrot flowers come in romantic colors of white, pink, and purple. It is also known as ornamental carrot and is equally gorgeous fresh as well as dried, which is why it is widely used in bouquets.</p>
<p>It is loved by all our pollinators and works magically in flower beds, plantings, and containers mixed with other summer flowers. A real favorite at Florea and a recurring feature in our gardens year after year.</p>

Cornflower - Blue Ball ECO

<p>A classic and beautiful cornflower with dense and double flowers in blue. The variety has a low and compact growth habit that is perfect for border beds, planters and pots. It is also very popular with all our pollinators and great to plant alongside other flower varieties. The cornflower looks incredibly pretty in bouquets both as freshly picked and as dried everlasting flowers. It is lovely to have in a vase on the table or to decorate the table setting.</p>
<p>The flowers of the cornflower are edible and perfect as a garnish on dishes, baked goods, and summer cakes. Our tip is to spice up a Greek salad or a tuna bowl with avocado and pickled red onions with these cute flowers. The good taste and blue color contrast make the plate artistically beautiful and exudes a lovely summer vibe.</p>

Poppy - Single Red ECO

<p>A classic summer variety with beautiful scarlet red flowers. The well-known &#8220;old garden flower&#8221; or &#8220;cottage flower&#8221; as it is often called in Swedish, is a very easy to grow and reliable variety. The gorgeous red flowers bloom from June to August and can be found in gardens all over the world.</p>
<p>The red corn poppy is also a well-known symbol for people who have fallen in wars, especially in England where the beautiful summer flower now symbolizes remembrance and hope for the future.</p>
<p>This variety is very nice to plant together with other summer flowers such as blue cornflower, cosmos, and sweet peas. Corn poppy is also a perfect attractor for the kitchen garden or other plantings since it is a summer flower that is incredibly popular among our pollinators.</p>

<p>A pleasant medieval variety that is easy to grow and has a classic appetite-stimulating dill flavor. It is suitable for use fresh, dried, frozen or preserved. The variety produces a beautiful yellow and magnificent dill crown that is suitable for combining into beautiful floral arrangements. The variety is very popular with our pollinators and can serve as a lure in vegetable gardens or kitchen gardens. This variety is excellent for, among other things, stews, salads, soups, or with potatoes and crayfish, but also as a topping.</p>

Marigold - Pink Surprise

<p>Gorgeous, multi-layered flowers in a lovely color combination of apricot, powder pink, and creamy yellow. This variety is an excellent cut flower and looks lovely in bouquets. It also fits well in borders and is incredibly easy to grow. It blooms beautifully well into the autumn and is known to be a very healthy variety that rarely suffers from disease. Not even slugs seem to want to eat the marigold, which is a big plus for gardens that struggle with these unwelcome guests.</p>
<p>The flowers are edible and become incredibly decorative on pastries, in salads, or as garnish on dishes. Marigold can also be used in tea as it is said to have a calming effect on stress and anxiety. It is also popular to make both marigold oil and homemade skin ointment from this variety. Onion - Rijnsburger 5 ECO

<p>A classic and nice yellow onion with a round shape. The variety produces beautiful onions with an appetizing taste and fantastic durability. With the right conditions, it can be stored frost-free for 2-3 months without any problems. Rijnsburger 5 is perfect to eat fresh or fried but is also magical when caramelized. The variety is also great for stews, sauces, and roasting in the oven.</p>

<p>A really fun new flower for 2024 is the Cosmos Popsocks, which are available in white or pink. All of us at Florea have long loved cosmos because they are easy to grow, have a slightly bushy growth habit and produce more flowers the more you harvest. Popsock has slightly anomalous flowers with white leaves and a yellow center, very beautiful and unique. Cosmos can be planted in both pots and beds so there are no excuses not to try them.</p>

Cosmos - Double Click Snowpuff

<p>Let us introduce the cosmos of all cosmoses, the fabulous Snow Puff. With its unique appearance, this variety has taken all of us at Florea by storm. Snow Puff&#8217;s flowers are fully double, giving a fluffy and soft impression. The ball-like flowers are pure white, and among all the beautiful petals, one can glimpse a yellow center disk. The foliage is green, long, and dill-like.</p>
<p>Snow Puff is perfect for cutting and is magical in bouquets. It is lovely on its own or mixed with other wonderful summer flowers. The variety is also incredibly decorative in flower beds, where it blooms abundantly and magnificently until the frost takes it.</p>

Parsnip - White Gem

<p>A pleasant variety that produces white-yellow skinned, semi-long roots of very good quality. The variety is very easy to grow and provides large, abundant harvests. A grateful root vegetable that can withstand frozen and cold soil. It has a mild and sweet taste that is excellent both raw and cooked in salads, stews or as a side dish. It is also very appetizing in meat sauce, in soups, on pizza or as chips. A charming root vegetable that can be used for many dishes in the kitchen and can be stored for a long time.</p>
<p>Palsternacka patties with potatoes and herb salt or honey roasted parsnip with caramel sauce are two real favorite recipes for White Gem. Or why not a hearty salad with fried parsnip, bacon and peppers? Yum!</p>

The emissions we do cause, for example, in the shipping of our goods, we have chosen to offset. Our entire operation is carbon offset.</p>

Germination tests are conducted in laboratories and in test cultivations. In the laboratory, we also test purity - which is important to ensure high quality. All our tests are carried out according to the ISTA international standard.</p>
