Peony - Coral Charm

Coral Charm is an absolutely fantastic peony that is immensely popular as it produces lots of semi-double flowers that begin their bloom in an apricot-pink color that turns whiter the longer it blooms. It&#8217;s a reliable variety that blooms abundantly in both sunny and partially shaded locations. It grows upright but may need some support; otherwise, it is very low-maintenance. Coral Charm is at its most striking when the bush has flowers at various stages, some softly pink and others white.

Peony - King's Day

Few flowers surpass the magical King&#8217;s Day, which seems to charm every viewer fortunate enough to behold this magnificent peony variety. That it is already strikingly beautiful in its bud stage, clothed in peach-colored attire, is incredible in itself. The surprise is that it only becomes more and more beautiful as it opens. Its color lightens and shimmers in the sun in a way that only King&#8217;s Day can achieve—a spectacle for both the eye and the flower-loving heart. A fantastic variety that works wonders in flower beds and gives that &#8217;wow&#8217; feeling that&#8217;s hard to put into words.
King&#8217;s Day lasts unusually long in a vase, making it the ultimate cut peony. This is Florea&#8217;s gardener Johanna Damm&#8217;s absolute favorite peony and is a must-have in her garden. At her home, we see it growing in multiple places in the garden, both on its own and interwoven with other varieties in a sorbet-like color palette. We are especially taken aback by its grandeur when we see it in a large vase on the dining table and realize that the variety truly lives up to its name!
(A favorite among pollinators that deer leave alone.)

Peony - Jan Van Leeuwen

Jan van Leeuwen, with its classic name that is not so easy to pronounce, is a wonderful single-flowering peony that smells delightful. White petals with their yellow center make it a very characteristic flower. A very reliable variety that may take some extra time to establish itself, but once it has done so, it provides fantastic flowers year after year. Sturdy stems ensure that it stands firm in rain and wind and is excellent as a cut flower.
When you have received your bare-rooted peony, we recommend that you plant it immediately. It is best to plant peonies in the fall, but it is also fine to do it during the spring and summer. If the ground is frozen, we recommend placing it in a slightly larger pot until it is to be planted in its final location. Then store it in a dry and cool place. Peony - Nancy Nora

Nancy Nora is a fantastic light pink peony that smells absolutely wonderful. When we walked among the peony fields in Holland, this was the first variety that we all stopped at, and everyone agreed; this one must be in our range. Nancy Nora grows to about 80 cm high and has sturdy stems, making it excellent as a cut flower. With its large, full flowers, we are convinced that you will also love this peony.

Peony - Salmon Dream

This fantastic peony variety has been around since 1975 and is a stylish cross between the popular peony varieties Moonrise and Paula Fay. The beautiful result of these two varieties led to large, semi-double peony flowers in a salmon-pink hue. The variety is especially known for its elegant growth habit, as it has leaves far down its stems, making it look truly magnificent both up close and from a distance.
Salmon Dream is also very popular due to its incredibly quick way of establishing itself in the soil and generally grows to a larger size faster than many other peony varieties. The variety also won an APS gold medal in 2008, which is an award that The American Peony Society gives out every year to the peony with the best qualities and the most beautiful appearance.
A true favorite among pollinators that looks beautiful as a cut flower and is left undisturbed by all deer!

Peony - Colonel Owen Cousins

An amazing variety that has become incredibly popular thanks to its huge, spherical flowers that just get more and more beautiful as they open up. The flowers have a mother-of-pearl color with faint shades of light peach to soft powder pink.
This is Florea founder Erik Hoekstra&#8217;s big favorite. At his home, we see Colonel Owen Cousins grow magnificently on the patio where it becomes the centerpiece, but also in the more secluded parts of the garden. Since Erik has problems with deer, this has truly become one of his favorites as it is left undisturbed and shines with all its floral splendor until the foliage transitions into a beautiful autumnal hue.

Peony - Red Sarah Bernardt

Judging by the name, one might think that this variety is a red version of the more commonly occurring variety &#8217;Sarah Bernardt,&#8217; but that is not the case. The two varieties actually have nothing to do with each other, oddly enough. We also do not think the variety is red, but rather cerise-colored. In any case, we think it is incredibly beautiful and really has its place in the garden. It blooms abundantly and provides strong stems, which are two recurring features among our peony varieties. We simply appreciate being able to enjoy the peonies both outdoors in the garden and also to bring them in as cut flowers.

Peony - Fringed Ivory

Fringed Ivory is a late-blooming variety with a soft and easygoing peony scent. The semi-double flower balls take on a beautiful ivory-white color and are just as beautiful during the day as they are in the evening. The variety has elegant dark green foliage and very strong stems, which makes them ideal for cutting and bringing indoors.
A big plus for this particular variety is that it forms many side tubers, which extends the flowering period as it produces a multitude of new beautiful flowers. It&#8217;s simply impossible not to love Fringed Ivory because it provides so many flowers throughout the season.

Peony - Apricot Whisper

Let us introduce the most magical of single-flowering peony varieties ever, Apricot Whisper. With its soft apricot-colored hue and its sturdy stems, this variety quickly became a favorite of ours, not only in flower beds but also in bouquets. It&#8217;s incredibly lovely to place a few lone stems in a vase or mix them together with other types of flowers in a bouquet.
Apricot Whisper blooms early in the season, which is highly appreciated, and for us at Florea, it has become the first real sign that the summer season has arrived. It has a long blooming period and develops incredibly beautiful foliage towards the fall. Highly appreciated by our pollinators but not liked by deer, which is a big plus!

Patio Peony - Madrid

We are particularly excited to present this delightful new addition, as it opens up endless cultivation possibilities for those who garden in a limited space, on a balcony, or for those who simply can&#8217;t get enough of peonies. This is indeed a pot peony, a shorter variety developed to grow in a smaller space while still flowering abundantly. It&#8217;s wonderfully suitable as an entryway plant or to adorn a balcony with.
The flowers are beautifully white, open, and closely resemble the well-known variety Jan Van Leeuwen in appearance. This is a fantastic peony variety that is highly appreciated by all our pollinators. This type of peony also works well when planted in open ground if desired, and it looks beautiful when planted in the foreground with other slightly taller varieties in the background.

Patio Peony - Kiev

This charming peony variety has been developed to be grown in pots, which we at Florea really love. It opens up many opportunities for peony enthusiasts who have a balcony, are gardening in limited space, or are looking for slightly shorter varieties. Kiev produces a profusion of open pink flowers that are highly appreciated by all pollinators. It blooms abundantly during its season and is extremely well-suited as an entrance plant or in a spot where it can get a bit more attention.
The variety also works excellently for planting in open ground if desired. It looks lovely when planted in front of taller peony varieties and also harmonizes very well in a mixed planting with summer flowers.

Anemone - Mistral Rosa Chiaro

This anemone is tested and photographed by Florea&#8217;s Gardening Club!
Together with our Gardening Club we are launching this adorable anemone variety from Italy with a graceful and romantic expression. The variety produces large, beautiful flowers in the finest of pink tones. The Mistral series is 
known to bloom for a long time and this beauty is no exception. Rosa Chiaro is great for growing in larger groups where it can be either centered or positioned at the forefront of other plants. Our gardener Johanna usually plants this anemone together with zinnias and Switch Grass Fontaine, a dream combination!
(The variety is perennial, but we recommend winter cover for those who grow the variety in the slightly colder zones for the greatest chance of repeat flowering.)

Butterfly Ranunculus - Musa

The butterfly buttercup Musa caught our interest immediately the first time we saw the variety. So much so that we immediately started looking for it to be able to include it in our assortment. The fluffy leaves have beautiful, pink-rusty tones that become slightly lighter the more the flowers bloom. The eye in the center of the flower starts out as yellow and then darkens which is adorable.
Musa is incredible as a cut flower thanks to its long durability in a vase, which is also one of the big reasons why we like this variety so much. We love to mix Musa with different flower bulbs in bouquets such as tulips, narcissus and alliums or some beautiful sprigs of eucalyptus.

A fantastic ranunculus mix of four outstanding varieties in soft pastel colors. Designed specifically to harmonize with each other and together create the ultimate bouquet. This fantastic tulip mix was produced by our lovely finalists in the Holland competition, Bella and Linda. Together they got to stroll through the tulip fields and select their absolute favorite varieties and compose their very own mix of bulbs. The result was lovely both in colour, shape and properties. An adorable mix to have in the garden and pick up for cuts!

Password is a wonderfully early spring tulip that fits perfectly into a variety of color schemes in the garden. Password is an exciting novelty in our range with its double flowering white petals with yellow flames and a beautiful pink blush &#8211; an absolute beauty on its own or as part of a mixed border. It strongly reminds of a peony when it is fully open, but with a completely unique color setting. As a cut flower, it is excellent and creates luxurious bouquets with just a few flowers. Without a doubt, Password will become a sought-after variety.

Tulip - Beach Berry

This delightful tulip variety changes color depending on where it is in the bloom. It starts in a magical antique pink shade and then transitions into magical copper tones. A fantastic double tulip that is incredibly well suited for cutting, thanks to its long blooming time and its varying appearance during bloom. Strikingly beautiful from bud stage to when it is fully bloomed, which makes Beach Berry a real bouquet favorite.
This variety is excellent to plant in pots and is delightful on its own or planted with other varieties in slightly rustier copper tones. A real tulip dream!

Tulip - Avant Garde

Avant Garde is a relatively new variety in the market. It has a delightful creamy white color and can reach a height of up to 40 cm with strong stems. This variety is classified as a double tulip and blooms early, sometime between March and May. It produces large peony-like flowers that also have a fantastic fragrance. It is perfect for cutting and using as a floral arrangement.

Tulip - Mystique Van Eijk

This tulip was added to our assortment in a classic Florea way; we were driving to a completely different place when we passed a field of Mystique van Eijk. A real &#8217;stop the car!!&#8217; moment.
We quickly fell in love with its beautiful color, the long sturdy stems swaying gently in the wind. We spent a few days with this amazing tulip, and it became a strong favorite. It held up incredibly well in a vase despite the warm temperature and less than ideal conditions.
The variety also belongs to the Darwin family, which means it has a great chance of producing side bulbs and being perennial.

Tulip - Aveyron

Aveyron is a double tulip in a vibrant pink color that can have small green streaks in white or green. It blooms early and reaches a height of approximately 35cm. It is a big favorite of ours, and we always bring in a few as cut flowers. It doesn&#8217;t go unnoticed in the garden as the flowers have a stunning peony-like shape.

Tulip - Francoise

Few single-flowered tulip varieties surpass our beloved favorite, Francoise. With its incredibly long and sturdy stems, we spotted it for the first time from quite a distance. The white beautiful flowers hovered slightly higher than all the others, capturing our curious gazes and immediately drawing us in. In all its simplicity, Francoise can be one of the most beautiful things we have actually seen.
It is a truly wonderful variety to have as a background plant or interwoven with other slightly taller varieties such as allium or the tulip variety Apricot Pride. It is also great for cutting due to its unusually long stems.

Just as the name reveals, this is an incredibly charming tulip that, with its full shape, blooms a bit later but quite magnificently. In beautiful apricot and faintly orange tones, this wonderful tulip embellishes all the early summer bouquets and gives the flower bed that little extra. Charming Lady is a well-known cut tulip thanks to its long durability in a vase and a real favorite among both florists and hobby growers worldwide. The variety fits very well in both pots but also larger plantings together with other varieties. A tulip variety that shines in competition with the sun together with its wonderful colors!
