Butternut Squash - Waltham Butternut ECO

A cool cultural heritage from 1944 with incredible quality. Beautiful, decorative, yellow pear-like fruits weighing around 2 kg. Orange flesh with a small seed cavity and a sweet delicate taste with a slight nutty aftertaste. The range of uses for Waltham Butternut in cooking is vast and at Florea, this is a big favorite of ours. An orange-colored, delicious, autumnal pumpkin soup with ginger and chili or a magical risotto with oven-roasted butternut squash are two of our favorite dishes with this fantastic squash. It also goes well with various types of pies and desserts as well as other types of oven-baked dishes thanks to its delightful taste. Another big plus for this variety is the long storage time of the pumpkins. The fabulous butternut squash can be stored for 2-4 months after harvest.
In addition to the delicious pumpkins, the variety has beautiful vines that grow 1-2 meters long with sweet flowers.

Poppy - Single Red ECO

A classic summer variety with beautiful scarlet red flowers. The well-known &#8220;old garden flower&#8221; or &#8220;cottage flower&#8221; as it is often called in Swedish, is a very easy to grow and reliable variety. The gorgeous red flowers bloom from June to August and can be found in gardens all over the world.
The red corn poppy is also a well-known symbol for people who have fallen in wars, especially in England where the beautiful summer flower now symbolizes remembrance and hope for the future.
This variety is very nice to plant together with other summer flowers such as blue cornflower, cosmos, and sweet peas. Corn poppy is also a perfect attractor for the kitchen garden or other plantings since it is a summer flower that is incredibly popular among our pollinators.

A fantastically delicious strawberry with a very sweet flavor that produces berries to harvest already in the first year. Wild Strawberry - Baron von Solemacher

Strawberry Baron von Solemacher has truly become a favorite here in the garden. Not only is it early and extremely productive, but it has also proven to be remarkably resistant to cold, pests, and diseases. The best part is that we get to enjoy the very first harvest already in the first year after planting – from June until the first frost. The berries, weighing approximately 3–5 g, are not only beautiful but also fragrant and sweet.
This variety has its roots in Germany, yielding large red berries that can reach up to 2.5 cm in size. Strawberries require minimal maintenance, and we are rewarded with an abundance of sweet strawberries throughout the summer. The variety can be grown in the garden or in pots.
It&#8217;s almost like a journey back in time when we think that this variety was first sold by FC Heinemann, a German seed merchant, as early as 1935. This gorgeous summer phlox is one of our absolute favorites at Florea. This magical variety comes from Holland, where it is known as the pride of the Netherlands. Given its beauty and popularity around the world, it certainly lives up to its name.
Cherry Caramel is in a class of its own with its beautiful color range of coffee, cream and raspberry. It blooms beautifully and lushly until the first night of frost. The variety is perfect for cutting flowers thanks to its long durability in a vase and gives all bouquets that little extra. It is not only popular with us humans, but also with all our pollinators who like to flock around this charming summer phlox variety. It smells lovely and is a delight to the eye in all flower beds, pots and plantings.
