Sugar Snap Pea - Désirée

A charming pea with elegant dark purple pods and violet flowers. Harvest them early as sweet peas and eat the whole pod. If the variety is harvested later, the peas should be sprayed like marrow peas. This means picking the peas out of the pod itself. So the variety has two uses, enjoy freshly harvested sugar snap peas at the beginning of the season and the spritzed peas in late summer.
This is Anna Kubel&#8217;s favorite pea, a must at her house. There it is allowed to climb wild on a trellis and adorn all summer salads and wok dishes.

Yarrow - Summer Pastell Mix

Yarrow Summer Pastel is a stunning perennial in the most beautiful mix of pastels in apricot, purple, pink and white. Known for its incredible vase life and long flowering. Outstanding as a cut flower and very popular as a bouquet filler, either fresh or dried. Loved by all pollinators who like to use the flowers as a place to recharge. In addition, the variety is deer resistant!

Strawflower - Silvery White

Let us introduce &#8216;Strawflower &#8211; Silvery White&#8217;, a very welcome addition to the eternelle family at Florea. The variety gets lots of large paper-like flowers in different shapes and sizes depending on how long they sit on the plant. A magical bouquet component but which is just as beautiful solo in a catch thanks to the white shimmering color. The wonderful thing about Strawflowers is that they can also be dried and Silvery White is no exception, it is harvested and hung upside down for best drying results.
Our cultivation expert Johanna Damm always grows this at home in at least one pallet collar preferably two because she uses them both in fresh bouquets and also dries lots to use for wreaths and eternity bouquets later in the year. She also usually cuts off the flowers when they have dried to use for slightly fancier dinner table settings. She then reuses these several times throughout the year by putting all the flowers in a jar or box. Sustainable, beautiful and much appreciated.

Tagetes - Vanilla F1

The Vanilla Tagetes is a lovely summer flower with a little something extra. The full flowers have a creamy white to isabelline yellow color, unlike the more common tagetes varieties. It is ideal for pot cultivation and is known for its special, slightly spicy fragrance. The flowers are edible and are often used as decoration on both dishes and pastries during the summer season. A breakfast tip is to dry the flower petals and then use them in oven-roasted muesli, both delicious and beautiful. 
(Deer and hares tend to avoid tagetes because of the spicy scent!)

Snapdragon - Snapstar Champagne

A brand new and unique snapdragon variety that with its beautiful double flowers and long stems took our flower hearts by storm. So much so that we simply had to add Snapstar Champagne to our range immediately, without having grown the variety ourselves. Some varieties are simply so beautiful and magical that they get to jump ahead in the queue and get a place directly in our range here at Florea. This variety ticked all our boxes in color, shape and characteristics. We have only one word about Snapstar Champagne and that is WOW!

Strawflower - Silvery Rose

The giant  Silvery-Rose produces lots of papery flowers in beautiful silvery-pink tones just as the variety name reveals. The variety produces double and large flowers that shimmer in the daylight with their magical color. It is excellent for use as a cut flower but is equally enchanting when dried.
Of all the flower varieties that can be dried, this is our customer service manager Ulrica&#8217;s great favorite. She usually mixes Silvery-Rose with currant and fills her home with perpetual bouquets to enjoy when the summer season seems far away. The reason it&#8217;s her favorite is because the color is so cold pink and pearly.

Nasturtium - Bloody Mary

A colorful bush cress that has been awarded by Fleuroselect for its unique flower pattern. The striking flowers come in different colors of burgundy and creamy yellow with hints of marbling and stripes along the petals. The variety has semi-long vines that are ideal for pots, window boxes and hanging baskets. The flowers, seeds and leaves of the herb are edible and can be used as decoration in cooking. It also makes a tasty and spicy addition to salads and stir-fries, for example. 
This is a big favorite of Hanna Wendelbo, who likes Bloody Mary&#8217;s striking blooms when it comes to color!

Marigold - Ivory Princess

The marigold variety &#8216;Ivory Princess&#8217; is a stylish variety in various shades of creamy white. It can have varied flowers with different colors on the center disk, some will be light and some dark, but all petals have that beautiful creamy white color. It is very easy to grow and delivers plenty of flowers in different sizes well into the season and can usually handle a few degrees below zero, which is absolutely fantastic.
This is our cultivation expert Johanna Damm&#8217;s favorite edible flower. She usually uses these in summer salads or to decorate baked goods but her very best tip is to freeze in ice cubes. There&#8217;s no fancier way to present a drink, and the feeling of being able to serve ice cubes with &#8216;fresh flowers&#8217; during the colder months of the year is magical.(Ivory Princess doesn&#8217;t need a lot of space for its
roots and is therefore perfect for growing in pots and window boxes too!)

Tomato - Pink Thai Egg

The charming &#8216;Pink Thai Egg&#8217; tomato variety is a lovely, egg-shaped tomato with a beautiful, shiny pink skin. The variety originated in Thailand and became popular in 1950. It is known for its productivity and for its resistance to cracking. Something that tomatoes often get due to uneven irrigation or large temperature differences.
A fantastic tomato that goes particularly well in salads thanks to its characteristics in color, shape and taste!

Flower Chervil - White Lace

This beautiful and delicate beauty is a must for anyone who likes to make their own summer bouquets. The flower corolla blooms profusely with large, white, lace-like flower clusters that last an incredibly long time in a vase. With its finely lobed foliage and sweet little flowers, the variety has become a favorite that everyone at Florea grows every summer. It is excellent for flower beds, pot cultivation and, above all, for interplanting with other beautiful summer flowers.
Did you know that flower chervil was used in the Middle Ages in poetry and literature to convey emotions and messages? It became a popular metaphor and symbol for romance and love. Its delicate beauty is often depicted in paintings and mentioned in many poems. Even today, it is still associated with love, as it is one of the most common elements in bridal bouquets and flower arrangements for summer weddings.
This is also our CCO Matilda Wahlström&#8217;s favorite flower. She always co-plants cosmos and flower chervil together. According to her, you don&#8217;t need more than these two for a successful bouquet recipe!

Senior&#8217;s Hope is an almost magical variety that has taken the dahlia world by storm with its unique color. The lovely petals are an old pink tone with a light vanilla colored brushstroke on the top. The variety grows really long stems that also have a very long vase life.

Yelno Harmony is a delightful dahlia variety known for its perfect, water lily-shaped flowers in a soft apricot shade. The variety was introduced in the 1960s by Dutch dahlia breeder Van Noort and has since become incredibly popular in the flower world among both florists and hobby growers. Dahlia Diana&#8217;s Memory is a light pink that changes to almost white at the very end of the petals. We fell for this beautiful decorative dahlia both for its shape and color. If you look really closely, the leaves are almost striped in a darker pink, which makes this very exciting. The flowers are approximately 10-12 cm in size and its dark green foliage is both lush and beautiful in contrast to the light pink flowers. Diana&#8217;s Memory thrives both in a flower bed and in a pot on a balcony or terrace.
