A magical heritage from 1894. An amazing cucumber variety that, with its unique shape and taste, has a tendency to charm everyone lucky enough to try it. Lemon produces plenty of delicate cucumbers with a round shape in a beautiful yellow-white-green color. The spherical cucumbers have both a tanginess and sweetness that work excellently in salads. It is easy to grow and provides a plentiful harvest through the season. It also fits very well for pickling in all its forms.

This is our gardening expert Johanna Damm’s absolute favorite, and at her home, it is cultivated not only in the garden and greenhouse but also indoors on a cucumber trellis in the kitchen window. To quote her exactly, “There is no better sandwich cucumber because both the taste and shape are perfect for a breakfast sandwich!”
