Eucalyptus - Baby Blue Spiral

Baby Blue is a charming eucalyptus variety with small, dense leaves in a soft blue-green shade that shimmers slightly in silver. Unlike varieties such as cinerea and silver dollar, baby blue has much smaller leaves and is therefore easier to place in bouquets. The variety can also be dried and looks very beautiful in eternity bouquets or other types of flower arrangements. This is a big favorite of Hanna Wendelbo who always grows baby blue at home. A clear bouquet favorite that produces plenty of beautiful eucalyptus branches that she uses extensively in all types of flower arrangements. With her we also find very large specimens as she always overwinters her plants frost-free and we are always equally impressed every time we visit her!

Beetroot - Hula Hoop

A magical and colorful mix with several different beetroot varieties in the same package. A cool taste adventure and an incredible experience for both the mouth and the eye. Snapdragon - Madame Butterfly Ivory F1

This is a new variety of sweet rocket that we at Florea are very proud of. This elegant variety has become one of our absolute favorites and one we will never be without. The double flowers come in a creamy white tone with small hints of light yellow and give a fluffy impression. Thanks to its height and long vase life, Madame Butterfly Ivory is a loyal and absolutely fantastic bouquet flower.
The variety&#8217;s charming appearance also makes it a fairy tale in borders and other types of plantings. The best thing about sweet rocket is that the more flower spikes you pick, the more you get. Not so surprising that it is so popular, right?
It is not only loved by us at Florea but also by all our pollinators who usually flock around this wonderful variety. The color of Madame Butterfly Ivory is hard to resist and we are very happy to welcome it into our assortment!

Mini Cucumber - Iznik F1

A nice and delicate mini-cucumber for cultivation in a greenhouse, warm protected outdoor locations, or for indoor cultivation on a windowsill. The cucumbers grow to about 10 cm in size with a smooth skin and are resistant to powdery mildew. The variety is easy to grow and yields a rich harvest without needing to be pollinated.
This variety is perfect for container gardening and does not require as much space for its roots as other cucumber varieties, which is why it is called the apartment cucumber in common parlance. If you have access to plant lighting, this variety can be grown year-round. Imagine how cool it would be to harvest your own cucumber in November or February when summer feels distant and longed for.
The variety is excellent for eating fresh, pickling, or using in salads.

Our founder Erik Hoekstra always plants the DoubleShot Appleblossom at the front of his vegetable patch. Tomato - Indigo Rose

A dark beauty full of the powerful antioxidant anthocyanin. With its shimmering purplish-black color, Indigo Rose is today classified as one of the world&#8217;s darkest tomatoes. Tomato - Gourman Sun F1

The Gourmansun is the tomato with everything and more. It has the look with its heart-like shape and with its striped yellow-orange-red color. It certainly has the size, with fully ripe fruits weighing around 200-260 grams and producing plenty of tomatoes throughout the summer. It also has an incredible flavor and juiciness that not all tomatoes of that size have, which was one of the main reasons why it was chosen as a new addition to our tomato range. Great to eat fresh in salads or to use in cooking such as soups, stews or pickles of all kinds.
Another big plus for Gourmansun is that it has good resistance to diseases such as fungal attack and mold, something that is becoming increasingly common in our gardens today. It is precisely such characteristics that we at Florea cherish a little extra and have in mind when we select varieties for our range!

Tomato - Pink Thai Egg

Cup & Saucer Vine - White

Chili - Habanero Red

Habanero Red belongs to the group of the hottest chili varieties and reaches up to 350,000 points on the Scoville scale. The variety is easy to grow and produces green, slightly round fruits that change color to an intense red when they are ready to be harvested. The plant has a bushy growth habit and has beautiful, decorative, dark green leaves. The variety is excellent for drying and grinding as a spice for an incredibly hot chili flavor.

Beef Tomato - Marmande ECO

A French beefsteak tomato that can produce up to 200g of red, large, and elegant tomatoes. With its meaty and delightful flesh, Marmande is a definite summer favorite. The variety originally comes from France but is equally well-known in Italy, especially in Tuscany and northern Italy. It is often referred to as one of Italy&#8217;s most beloved tomatoes in the Italian cuisine and is even PAT-listed among traditional Italian varieties. The fantastic beefsteak tomato has also found its way into the English cuisine thanks to its incredible taste and has become a classic favorite in the Swedish cuisine as well.
Marmande is the ultimate beefsteak tomato for cooking, as it is magical in oven dishes, tomato sauces, and pasta sauces. The variety is also incredibly delicious to have fresh in salads or to eat sliced on bread with a little salt. A definite summer favorite, in other words!

Cherry Tomato - Sungold F1

An incredibly popular and talked-about cherry tomato that has become a big favorite worldwide, but especially in Swedish households and gardens. With its delightful tropical taste and its orange-golden appearance, Sungold is one of the sweetest tomatoes in the world. Its magical taste makes this variety a big favorite and a class of its own. Sungold is also a favorite among many of us who work at Florea and a recurring favorite in our gardens.
The lovely taste makes this incredible tomato variety outstanding in salads or as a topping on breakfast sandwiches, but it is also completely magical to eat as is, straight from the plant. A sure winner for both young and old!

Sugar Pea - Golden Sweet

A cool and flavorful cultivar that originated in India and was first cultivated around 1860. A unique and tall-growing variety that produces beautiful, flat pods in bright yellow color. The special color also makes it much easier to find the pods compared to the classic green varieties. Golden Sweet has cute little violet flowers that make the plant itself look very decorative when in bloom. 
The pods are good to eat fresh or lightly cooked and are excellent for wok dishes, for example. This is a favorite variety of our CEO Philip Eriksson, who usually fries them in cooking oil and chops garlic. Last of all, he adds a little salt and then the pods are ready to serve!

Beetroot - Detroit 2 ECO

A highly cultivable beet with beautiful, large, round, and smooth-skinned roots. The skin is dark red just like the delicious flesh. Equally pleasant boiled as well as pickled, and the young leaves can be used in the same way as chard since they are very tasty. This variety is suitable for so much, such as salads, juices, soups, and much more when it comes to food. We at Florea also want to share a cooking tip on this particular variety that we really enjoy. It is salt-baked beets with thyme and lemon butter. Simply magical!
In addition to being a very popular side dish to many dishes, it is also an incredibly healthy vegetable with many healthy benefits and properties. Beets contain, among other things, a lot of folic acid and alkaloids which together help to lower the body&#8217;s homocysteine levels which reduces the risk of heart disease. Beets are also rich in nitrate, which in the body is converted to nitrogen oxide. Many studies show that the molecule dilates and relaxes blood vessels which in turn contributes to a more oxygen-rich blood and lowers blood pressure. So, if you want improved metabolism, performance, and muscle function, Detroit 2 is the vegetable you are looking for.

Wild Strawberry - Yellow Wonder

An early strawberry variety that produces abundant large, white-yellow, flavorful berries. Known for its long harvest time, which can last well into the fall as long as the nights are not too cold. The tasty berries are also incredibly decorative thanks to their unique color. Another big plus is that even the birds tend to leave this variety alone because they think the berries are not ripe.
Strawberries are also beautiful to plant in the front of beds thanks to their height and are also very easy to access. The cute little flowers in white are also very decorative, just like the little berries.
So if you&#8217;ve never tried white and yellow strawberries before, we highly recommend it. In fact, many of us at Florea actually prefer them to the classic red ones!

Snapdragon - Potomac Cherry Rose

If you&#8217;re looking for a majestic summer flower in a beautiful pink dress, then Potomac Cherry Rose is definitely the variety you&#8217;re looking for. This beauty has tall and long stems perfect for cutting. The variety has double flowers that give a fluffy appearance and add that little extra to your summer bouquet. This enchanting variety of snapdragon has been named for its color tones that resemble a flowering apple tree. Is there anything more beautiful than an apple tree in bloom? Onion - Rijnsburger 5 ECO

A classic and nice yellow onion with a round shape. The variety produces beautiful onions with an appetizing taste and fantastic durability. With the right conditions, it can be stored frost-free for 2-3 months without any problems. Rijnsburger 5 is perfect to eat fresh or fried but is also magical when caramelized. The variety is also great for stews, sauces, and roasting in the oven.
At Florea, we would like to share two fantastic cooking tips for this charming yellow onion. The first is baked onion with honey and a little thyme, and the second is a classic French onion soup. Simply delicious!

Artichoke - Green Globe

An incredible cultural heritage from 1863. A beautiful delicacy known for its fantastic taste and grown today in many parts of the world. The small artichokes are magical when pan-fried with butter and served with a little aioli. The larger artichokes are fantastic when baked in the oven with feta cheese and a little parsley, but also boiled and enjoyed with just a little butter as a side dish. This is a big favorite among our staff at Florea and a recurring variety in our gardens.
This friendly artichoke is just as nice to eat as it is to decorate bouquets or beds with. The variety produces magnificent purple flowers that smell wonderful, which is why it is often seen in many gardens and plantings. Green Globe is also incredibly popular with all of our pollinators, especially butterflies. A must-have in the garden, simply put!
