Gladiolus - Chloé

A fantastically beautiful gladiolus variety in a dull old pink shade with small and beautiful hints of apricot and misty grey. This is one of our absolute favorites and a variety we find it very difficult to be without. The fancy flowers burst out bud by bud and leave no one untouched. Chloé is strikingly beautiful as a background plant in flower beds interwoven with other lower flowers or on its own in a fancy pot where they can take up a lot of space and be seen. It has long and sturdy stems that are excellent for cutting.
This variety is not only a favorite with us at Florea, but Chloé is also really popular with all our pollinators who like to flock around the fancy flowers.

A charming and stately gladiolus variety in a lovely pink case. The color of the beautiful flowers looks just like cotton candy and at the very end you can glimpse a light yellow streak. The stable and sturdy stems are perfect for cutting and the variety lasts a very long time in a vase. Le Belle Jolie adds both color and height to the flowerbed and is magical to have planted in a pot.
If we had to choose only one gladiolus variety here at Florea, it would probably be this one. When we saw the beautiful color of Le Belle Jolie, we all agreed that this particular variety had an obvious place in our range.

Juliette is a fabulous gladiolus variety in a beautiful salmon pink shade. The variety produces large, beautiful, bell-like flowers with long and sturdy stems. It is enchanting in the flower bed, either by itself or as a background plant interwoven with some other lower flower varieties. Juliette is especially beautiful when the sun shines on the flowers and has therefore been nicknamed the sunrise. The variety is also really good as a cut flower and lasts a very long time in a vase.

A summer-blooming grass with soft, feathery flower plumes in an enchanting blend of burgundy and green. Fantastic for weaving into perennial borders or cut flower gardens. The stunning plumes make a striking addition to bouquets and are widely used by florists around the world. Equally beautiful when planted in open ground or in pots.
(Red Head can survive the winter outdoors in many parts of the country if placed in a sheltered spot with well-drained soil.)

Pennisetum &#8211; Hameln is a beautiful, perennial grass that has gained significant popularity in the floral world in recent years. Federweisser is a stunning ornamental grass with long, silver-gray flower plumes. It can be harvested from late summer and throughout the winter. Incredibly majestic for use in bouquets and floral arrangements. Federweisser is also perfect for dried flower arrangements, as it looks just as beautiful dried as it does fresh.

Tyrell shifts in pale pink, apricot and small hints of bright orange. The colors are a little more intense at first and then fade away after the flower blooms. The flowers grow to about 15-20 cm in size and are truly one of the most beautiful dahlias we know thanks to the incredible color changes.

Preference is a stunning cactus dahlia introduced by breeder Gerrit P. Gerritsen from the Netherlands in the 1980s, although it was registered as early as 1955. The variety&#8217;s warm apricot-pink flowers, which deepen a little more towards the center, have made it an incredibly growable favorite worldwide. The flowers are medium-sized and neatly formed with slightly wavy petals, giving a very romantic and sophisticated look. Great to use for cutting thanks to its shape but also for its incredibly long vase life.
This cactus dahlia is a big favorite of our cultivation expert Johanna Damm. In August and September, this variety is almost always in her bouquets thanks to its unique color and shape. It&#8217;s a must-have and a favorite every summer in her garden!

Dahlia - Ice Baby

Ice Baby is an elegant dahlia variety with medium-sized flowers in a crisp white color. The flowers have a beautiful and very symmetrical shape, which is one of the many reasons why Ice Baby is so beautiful in bouquets. It stands on sturdy and robust stems, making them ideal for pot cultivation but also as a cut flower. With its long-lasting flowering and exceptional vase life, the variety has quickly become something of a dahlia hit. 
Ice Baby is our COO Matilda&#8217;s big dahlia favorite. She always grows this variety in a pot on the balcony and likes to fill the glass vase on the dining table with a larger flower catch of Ice Baby if she is expecting guests or just wants to put a golden edge on everyday life.
