For beginners - grow flowers

Do you dream of growing your own cut flowers? When we grow summer flowers, we do it because we want them to bloom as early as possible. Follow these simple steps to grow flowers that you can then plant in a bed or pot.

Fill up with seed soil and make sure to compact the soil a bit.

Water through the soil.

Place 1-2 seeds per pot.

Sprinkle a thin layer of soil on top...

and water some more!

Good to know about sowing flowers

If the seeds are small, you can sow them in a flower box. Row spacing is not so important here!

When we plant the small seeds, we want to make them germinate. Then we move them to a larger pot where they can grow further before it’s time to plant them out.

Most flowers can also be sown directly into the ground, but only when the risk of frost has passed as most plants cannot tolerate frost.
