When we saw Dahlian Ilse we were immediately hooked, its small sweet flowers in tones of pink and apricot make it a real little candy in the garden. It is incredibly beautiful in flower arrangements and blooms profusely with long stems. Ilse thrives just as well in a pot on the balcony or terrace as in the flower bed.
Does the size and condition of the tuber matter?
Each dahlia tuber is unique, just like us humans. The appearance and characteristics of tubers can vary greatly between varieties. In both shape and size, but also in characteristics such as development time and productivity. Some have long, slender tubers, while others can be short and thick.

The splendid dahlia becomes the centerpiece of the garden from midsummer well into the fall. Dahlia’s underground tubers are stored over winter, enabling them to return with an increasing number of blooms year after year.

Germination tests are conducted in laboratories and in test cultivations. In the laboratory, we also test purity - which is important to ensure high quality.
