Italian Millet - Red Jewel

Setaria italica

Allow us to introduce one of Hanna Wendelbo’s great favorites, Italian Millet- Red Jewel. A splendid and stately ornamental grass with large, beautiful, reddish-brown spikes. The variety has lovely leaves that transition from an elegant light green hue to wine-red over time. Red Jewel is wonderfully impressive in flower beds or larger pots, thanks to its unique shape and height.

The variety is also magical as a cut flower in bouquets and can be used both freshly harvested and dried!
