Brussels Sprouts - Roodnerf

Brassica oleracea var. gemmifera

Brussels Sprouts Roodnerf is one of the oldest preserved heirloom varieties within Brussels sprouts. The variety originates from Hurst in England and is primarily known for its high-quality taste and incredible attributes. Roodnerf produces medium-height plants that are relatively cold-resistant but can endure even longer with the help of a rowcover.

We at Florea suggest sautéing Brussels sprouts with honey and a bit of lemon or making a Brussels sprout soup with Parmesan, yum!
