A very flavorful pepper that produces impressive oblong fruits that are about 10 cm long. The fruits are initially green but mature to a redder hue, although the peppers can be eaten in both stages. The variety has a semi-drooping growth habit, making it perfect for pots, boxes, or hanging baskets.
This variety is a really good salad pepper thanks to its crispy and sweet taste. It goes incredibly well on pizzas or in stews of all kinds. We think it’s extra delicious when oven-baked with cream cheese, feta cheese, pressed garlic, and a little thyme.
Did you know that a red pepper contains four times as much vitamin C as an orange? Red pepper is also very rich in carotene. So, in other words, it’s a nutritious and tasty beauty in a red coat!
