An unusual sunflower variety with a very unique appearance. The variety gets a beautiful, fluffy center in sooty tones while the pointed petals go in a little more in rose pinkish. Astra rose’s beautiful flowers start out creamy white and then transition more and more to the pink tones as it grows larger and more spread out.

This sunflower was first grown by us at Florea in Anna Kubel’s garden in the summer of 2024. There it adorned both the kitchen garden and the back of the greenhouse with its pinkish robe. Fantastic both in a bed but also as a cut flower in bouquets!

(The variety is branching and often has more flowers per stem).
