A cool and flavorful cultivar that originated in India and was first cultivated around 1860. A unique and tall-growing variety that produces beautiful, flat pods in bright yellow color. The special color also makes it much easier to find the pods compared to the classic green varieties. Golden Sweet has cute little violet flowers that make the plant itself look very decorative when in bloom.
The pods are good to eat fresh or lightly cooked and are excellent for wok dishes, for example. This is a favorite variety of our CEO Philip Eriksson, who usually fries them in cooking oil and chops garlic. Last of all, he adds a little salt and then the pods are ready to serve!
