German Chamomile ECO

Matricaria chamomilla

White, beautiful daisy-like flowers with a raised golden yellow center. The leaves are simple, divided, and aromatic. Chamomile is one of our oldest and most well-known medicinal herbs worldwide. It is most known for its antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects. The variety is also very popular for making herbal tea and is especially suitable for evening use due to its calming effect. In many parts of the world, the flowers are also used in fragrant and soothing baths.

The flowers are also delicate to eat and are therefore enchanting to use as a garnish on salads and pastries of all kinds. Imagine a sunny summer day in August and a freshly baked cream cake with strawberries that is decorated with lots of beautiful chamomile flowers, wonderful isn’t it?

This super plant is also incredibly popular with our pollinators and makes itself very decorative in plantings with its simple and summery appearance. A magical variety that benefits both humans and animals, but also our fantastic nature. A big favorite of ours at Florea and a natural part of our employees’ gardens!

(This variety is also organic)
