A tall-growing and classic allium variety with large purple flower balls. Magical in beds planted with other plants, where the graceful globe-shaped flowers take on an almost floating appearance. A recurring favourite that is not eaten by either hares or hoofed animals, which means that they can bloom magnificently in peace. With its stately height, Gladiator can grow up to 130 cm high, which is incredibly impressive in plantings but also in slightly larger pots.

(Gladiator has also received the prestigious Award of Garden Merit, which the Royal Horticultural Society only gives to plants that are particularly worthy of cultivation)
